Alexander the GREAT.... Mess maker

Wow! What a handful toddlers are! This week Alex was really on a roll. He first started by emptying his ENTIRE 7 drawer dresser. He made one big pile of clothes, shoes, blankets, and sheets. Then he headed to the kitchen to terrorize there. He emptied the tupperware cupboard and then climbed in. Next he wanted to help me with the laundry (which he usually does so that was nothing new.). Before I knew it, he had climbed in to the dryer. He was fascinated by the light in there and had fun until I made him get out. I had a hard time not laughing, I didn't want to encourage that action. Just as soon as I set his feet on the floor he went for the front loading washer. I decided it needed to stop there. It took me a good 40 minutes to clean up all the messes. I can't believe I just watched him make all those messes!

One bit of advice- child locks. When we moved into the new house, Paige was 16 months old. She was pulling everything out and climbing in any cabinet she could fit in. First on the list was a trip to the store to lock her out.
