Our site was right on the river (thanks Terri for letting me steal the idea!) and Alex LOVED to throw rocks in the water.
THE reason that I camp. S'Mores! Sean even wanted some!
The only bad thing was that it got really cold at night. The news reported that it had been in the low 40's and I believe it. I was so cold! Poor Sean was a popcicle at night. I had him wrapped in about 5 layers plus I kept him in bed with me and his little hands were still cold! I didn't even think to bring a hat for him to sleep in so I had to use the hat I brought for the sun! And I ended up using socks for gloves on his hands!

Looks like you had fun, sorry you were so cold! We didn't have that problem because we were all sleeping on top of eachother in our little tent!
Wow. Camping. I am impressed. I hope the smores were worth it! It's always nice to get time away form all the pressures of home and just be out as a family. Glad you had fun.
